WOW! I know I originally posted the MGG B-Day Project a bit late last night and so I’m doing this note to hit a busier Tumblr time, but also to let you know that the response is still great! Believe it or not I’ve already received a lovely card to put into the montage :) So again, I encourage you to spread the word! Matthew Gray Gubler Birthday Project!
Hey MGG fans, wanna be seen wanna be heard? I’m attempting to start the first ever Matthew Gray Gubler Birthday Project!! I was inspired by my friend who is participating in a similar event for her favorite celebrity, just so you know this isn’t a totally original idea. But enough of that here’s what’s going down, Matthew’s 32nd is four months away! So for the big day keepcalmandcriminalminds will be collecting video and picture submissions that you send in in order to make a lovely MGG happy birthday montage. Now this is your chance to express your love and admiration to a great and adorable man, all you have to do is follow these simple rules,
1) Try to keep your birthday wishes short, depending on the number of submissions I get I will evenly disperse time, but i want to try to keep it short, let’s be honest no celebrity has time to sit and watch a 10 or 15 min montage no matter how sweet, so a simple HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATTHEW!! will suffice
2) Don’t like that? Well take the time a prep yourself a photo-shoot and take a picture of yourself with a happy birthday sign or something, this may not strike you as you’re number one choice but pictures might come out clearer in a fast moving montage and you know you’ll look your best for those 2 or 3 seconds
3) Keep Calm and Be CLASSY! This montage will be made by fans who love, care, and respect MGG. There will be no nudity, vulgar words, or gestures. Keep you clothes on and show off a sexy smile ;)
4) HAVE FUN! and tell your friends! the more fands the better! From all around the world let’s show our favorite celeb how much we care!
DEADLINE final submissions are due two weeks before the day so, FRIDAY FEBRUARY 24TH!! at 12am, but start submitting as early as… NOW! here’s the thing, there’s no guarantee Matthew will see this but i have faith that on it’s release we can all drum up enough noise and tweet it enough times to get a simple thank you from the man himself!
